Once Labor Day kicks in, I mark the calendars to think that the Holiday season has officially begun. This would perhaps be the last celebration of Summer, and people start thinking about Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. And then its time to start preparing the Menu for all these occasions. Before you know it, the heat is on in your kitchen as you are cooking and baking every weekend, and the immediate effect is that you’ll start seeing the figures rising on your weighing scale, at least that’s what happens at our house!
So this time, I’m going to try to look for Healthier dessert alternatives for the holiday season. I have compiled a list of 12 Health-Friendly dessert recipes – ech of them has a healthier twist, some use natural sweeteners instead of sugar, some use whole grain flour instead of white, or swap coconut milk or fruit purees instead of cream, maybe olive oil instead of butter.
